Free Bowling This Summer

I received an e-mail from a friend awhile back letting me know about some free bowling that’s now available through a Kids Bowl Free program.

Available at our following centers:

• Woodland Bowl - 3421 E. 96th St. Indianapolis IN 46240     
• Western Bowl - 6441 W. Washington St. Indianapolis IN 46241     
• Southern Bowl - 1010 U.S. Highway 31 South Greenwood IN 46143
• Jubilee Bowl - 7420 N. Michigan Rd. Indianapolis IN 46268     
• Expo Bowl – 5261 Elmwood Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46203     

Two Free Games of bowling anytime lanes a re available (Open to Close).

Starts  Sunday, April 20, 2008 and ends Saturday, August 23, 2008.

Not to be used with  any other coupon offer. One coupon per person per day. Not valid during Cosmic  Bowling. Not to be used for field trips. Must be 18 years of age or younger. ID  may be required. Reservations recommended but not required.

ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Coming to Indiana

Do you know a real local hero in our community? The producers at ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition are looking for a family and a home to feature in their TV show.

I just saw this post from Roger at I Choose Indy and thought I’d spread the news.

I know a family that might be a great one to feature on the show, I’ll talk to some friends about nominating them.

If you’re familiar with the show then you probably also know they’ll be needing some volunteers. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for more information.

FREE Indiana State Fair Tickets in IndyStar

On the back page of the Tuesday edition of the Indianapolis Star Healthy Living section is a full page ad for the Indiana State Fair with a free ticket for admission Tues, Wed, or Thurs, this week.

Thanks to my friend Russ for sending me an e-mail about this today and for Z99.5 WZPL for mentioning it on the air this morning when a caller called in to let them know.

The concert at the fair tonight is Kenny Rogers and Oak Ridge Boys, but if you’re going to the concert, you’ve got tickets and those include admission anyway.
