Richard, thanks for visiting the site. I moved up here from Tennessee after college to get married. Where are you at in TN? I agree, it didn't make sense to me when the Speedway and the city let F1 leave. The only thing I can make of it is that Ecclestone is an idiot to work with in business.

I'm a little late in reading the posts here. Like the others I have only missed one race. I did make it to this years race and with my son's and I brought one of there friends and a cousin who has never seen an F1 race. They became instant fans. I grew up in Brownsburg but now I live in Tennessee. Indy will always be my home and when the race came into town I looked forward to going and camping out there. I was so sad when they decided not to have the race. I cant believe they would go to all of the touble and change the track for the moto gp race. The new course would be great for F1 a major improvement. This doesnt make since. I also believe that Indy should have pitched in on the cost of hosting the race. The city should have advertised it more. I hardly saw any advertisements down here in the "South". I love Indy and will truley miss my year treck back home.
